"Libre" is the beginning of a feminist art series celebrating non-hegemonic beauty, inner strength, and the freedom to define ourselves beyond patriarchal and capitalist standards.

This artwork was born from a personal journey—a moment of transformation that began when I accepted a commission for a feminist collective. It led me to question everything I had been taught about beauty.

The woman in this illustration is beautiful simply because she is. Because of what shines within her, and what radiates outward. She reminds us that true beauty is not defined by others, but by how we see and feel ourselves.

With this piece—and all that will follow—I free myself, and I free you, from the pressure to fit into unrealistic, cruel, and costly beauty standards.
